2022 Artist Larry Achiampong and the Westminster Underground Roundel

As you turn your back on the Houses of Parliament (not because you have lost faith in democracy but because you should head down Westminster tube stairs facing forwards) take a moment to look up at the symbolic new roundel. Artist Larry Achiampong has redesigned the red and blue underground sign for Art on the Underground to give it a Pan-African feel with 54 stars to represent each of the countries in the continent, green, black and red for the land, the people and the struggles endured and gold for a prosperous new day.
